Agro-Industry Management

Target Group: Those working in the agro industry development, food processing and distribution, all those engaged in one or more links in the supply chain of food and feed manufacturing; corporations whose core activity consists of food or feed manufacturing and distribution, agro industry researchers, policy makers, planners, administrators in government departments and the private sector; graduates in agro industry sector planning to establish agro ventures or work for the agro industry sector, planners, consultants and trainers.
Planned Outcome: A comprehensive understanding of the agro-industry sector, major corporate players, raw materials and supply chains, prices and pricing system, globalisation of the industry; complexity of the market place; ISO standards, rules and regulations governing the industry; issues pertaining to development of agro industry in the emerging markets; an overview of European agro industry, European community policies, subsidies and other measures to strengthen and expand the industry; research and development; investments and an understanding of the global market trends.
Admission Requirement: High level of proficiency in English, minimum 5 years experience in the public or private , preferably working in the agro industry sector, minimum 25 years of age.
Where do I study?
Courses are delivered in London but are also offered in other locations globally, either directly by EDCL or in association with partnering institutions.
What will I achieve?
A Certificate of Achievement from EDCL and St Patricks International College in Agro-Industry Management.
How much will it cost?
Fees are £2990. Donor-funded, government or corporate sponsorships of larger groups will have substantial discounts.
