Environmental Protection and Management

Target Group: Government officers working in the Ministries and agencies charged with the responsibility of environment planning, environmental audit and environmental protection; all corporations with requirements for environmental audit, environmental planning; companies engaged in the development and marketing of products and processes aimed at protecting the environment.
Planned Outcome: A full and comprehensive understanding of international standards, Kyoto and Copenhagen protocols on carbon emission; global warming and the scientific evidence, carbon credits and credits trading and incentives for environmental protection, understanding threats to environment; research and development in engineering environment-friendly products and processes, grants and finances available for manufacturing and use of environment-friendly manufacturing processes; national environment protection agencies, their operations, government policies, corporate environment audits; carbon emissions and global warming.
Admission Requirement: High level of proficiency in English, minimum 3 years experience in the public or private sector, preferably working in the environment al protection and or management sector, minimum 25 years of age.
Where do I study?
Courses are delivered in London but are also offered in other locations globally, either directly by EDCL or in association with partnering institutions.
What will I achieve?
A Certificate of Achievement from EDCL and St Patricks International College in Environmental Protection and Management.
How much will it cost?
Fees are £2990. Donor-funded, government or corporate sponsorships of larger groups will have substantial discounts.
