Hospitality and Tourism Management

Target Group: Those working in the hospitality and tourism industry, event managers, those in the hospitality and tourism industry supply chain, graduates planning to enter the hospitality and tourism industry, hospitality and tourism investment promotion agencies, investors and entrepreneurs in the industry, government administrators, regulators, planners, trainers and consultants.
Planned Outcome: An overview of the hospitality and tourism industry globally; an overview of the industry in the emerging markets; the industryâs dependence on other sector of the economy for income generation; the supply chain analysis; growth drives and constraints in the industry; niche projects and niche markets; investments in the industry; current trends in profitability; new markets and new product innovation; sun-rise and sun-set horizons for the industry, eco tourism development and growth; industry standards in developed and emerging markets; human capital development related to the industry; profitability ratios; investments and global trends in visitor arrivals, occupancy; profits; management of hospitality and tourism ventures.
Admission Requirement: High level of proficiency in English, minimum 5 years experience in the public or private health sector, preferably working in the hospitality and tourism sector, minimum 25 years of age.
Where do I study?
Courses are delivered in London but are also offered in other locations globally, either directly by EDCL or in association with partnering institutions.
What will I achieve?
A Certificate of Achievement from EDCL and St Patricks International College in Hospitality and Tourism Management.
How much will it cost?
Fees are £2990. Donor-funded, government or corporate sponsorships of larger groups will have substantial discounts.
