Investment Promotion

Target Group: Officers working with Government investment promotion agencies in developing countries, officers from the ministry of trade and industry, ministry of national development, ministry of finance, ministry of environment and all related agencies. Investment promotion strategists, planners, promotion consultants, trainers.

Planned Outcome: A full and comprehensive understanding of all aspects of Foreign Direct Investments, facilitating mechanisms for foreign direct investments, rules and regulations which attract investments, investment grading of a country in terms of ease of inward investment, investment barriers, and the overall investment climate, cost of investment, resources availability, human capital development, infrastructure facilities, markets, nature and scale of national economies, investor relations, financial institutions and availability of credit; investment laws and guarantees.

Admission Requirement: High level of proficiency in English, minimum 3 years experience in the public or private sector, preferably working in the investment promotion sector, minimum 25 years of age.

Courses are delivered in London but are also offered in other locations globally, either directly by EDCL or in association with partnering institutions.

What will I achieve?

A Certificate of Achievement from EDCL and St Patricks International College in Investment Promotion.

How much will it cost?

Fees are £2990. Donor-funded, government or corporate sponsorships of larger groups will have substantial discounts.
