Essentials of Leadership

Much research has been done on leadership qualities, leadership traits, critical thinking, judgement, decision-making and the various levels of intelligence required for managers to lead an organisation. It is widely recognised now that top management is all about leadership.

Target Group: Managers in both private and public sector organisations with results-based management responsibilities and working with large teams.

Planned Outcome: A fuller understanding and appreciation of effective leadership, leadership chromosomes, leadership styles, team building, identification, training of core competencies in team members, case analysis, negotiation techniques, options- creation, lateral thinking, judgement;, decision making, motivation, conflict identification and resolution, management by objectives, monitoring and results-evaluation.

Admission Requirements: Proficiency in English, minimum 3 years of work experience.

Where do I study?

Courses are delivered in London, but are also offered in other locations globally, either directly by EDCL or in association with partnering institutions.

What will I achieve?

A Certificate of Achievement from EDCL and St Patricks International College in Essentials of Leadership.

How much will it cost?

Fees are £1,990. Donor-funded, government or corporate sponsorship of larger groups will have substantial discounts.
