Project Management

Almost every activity, from planning to production, from marketing to financial control needs to be project-managed if resources are adequately utilised on time and on budget. Project management therefore is a critical part of all management endeavours.
Target Group: Managers in both private and public sector organisations, professionals managing project teams, public administration officials, project managers, project management consultants and trainers and anyone aspiring to become project managers and project management consultants.
Planned Outcome: A full and comprehensive understanding of Project Management essentials based on PMBOK (Project Management Body of Knowledge) developed by the Project Management Institute in the United States, with an introduction to Prince 2, developed and used in the United Kingdom. Key elements of the Outcome: a full grasp of project planning methodologies, Work Breakdown Structure (WBS) Scheduling, Resources Allocation, Budgeting, Contingency Planning and Network Analysis. Developed capacities to plan and manage small and large scale projects.
Admission Requirements: Proficiency in English, minimum 3 years of work experience.
Where do I study?
Courses are delivered in London but are also offered in other locations globally, either directly by EDCL or in association with partnering institutions.
What will I achieve?
A Certificate of Achievement from EDCL and St Patricks International College in Project Management.
