Public Administration

Public policy and administration, the crafting and evolution of national development strategies, sector resources and management are key platforms for a nation€™s success or failure. There is increasing focus on emerging markets and their public administration matrix which determines the growth drivers of the economy.

Target Group: Public administration officials from developed and developing countries, graduates wishing to enter public service, public administration trainers and consultants, public sector planners and strategies, national development strategists, public administration educationists and trainers.

Planned Outcome: Understanding macro and micro economic principles which shape a nation€™s economy, critical policy and program interventions to re-generate the economy, understanding national budgets, public administration procedures and public service inputs, input-out-ratios in public service, governance and governance principles, developing and implementing development policies, managing development projects, understanding donors and donor funding mechanisms, statistical analysis and understanding of growth factors and growth constraints.

Admission Requirements: Proficiency in English, minimum 3 years of work experience.

Where do I study?

Courses are delivered in London but are also offered on a global basis directly by EDCL and other participating institutions.

What will I achieve?

A Certificate of Achievement from EDCL and St Patricks International College in Public Administration.

How much will it cost?

Fees are £1,990. Donor-funded and government or corporate sponsored programmes for larger groups have substantial discounts.
