Who are EDCL?
EDCL is a full-fledged centre of excellence in entrepreneurship education, training, entrepreneurship research, business incubation, project management and global consulting services. EDCL was founded as a global initiative by St. Patrick's International College London, a 207 year old institution of higher learning, with Royal Holloway University of London as a strategic partner in executive education.
Based in the heart of central London, the Entrepreneurship Development Centre London (EDCL), directs its operation to cover European Community of nations and even more imporantly aims to provide strategic value to the enhancement of capacities required to inject a specific entrepreneurship-driven development momentum among emerging markets and least developed countries. The Centre is founded on the fundamental principle that education in developing countries must focus on development needs and that entrepreneurial human capital development will remain a critical driver in a nation's economic and social growth.
Global Catalyst
EDCL cuts across all disciplines and offers students, executives and entrepreneurs everywhere a clear and defined opportunity to study and practice entrepreneurship, to support entrepreneurial projects and ventures within organisations or undertake new ventures on their own. The Centre's mission is to act as a significant global catalyst in creating a critical awareness of entrepreneurship and its values, to provide quality education, training and consulting as well as to contribute to the process of developing solutions to eradicating poverty and increasing the wealth of people in emerging nations.
